二十六聖人記念館はリニューアル工事に伴う展示工事のコンペでデザインが採用されました。展示品には、フランシスコ・ザビエルによる日本でのキリスト教布教から、弾圧の時代、二十六聖人の殉教、潜伏キリシタンから明治時代の信仰の復活まであり、 歴史的に重要な資料が数多くありました。 今回の仕事は、これら重要な資料を「守る」「見せる」展示をテーマに細部までこだわるデザイン・設計を行いました。 展示ケースは、基本的には気密性の高いケースをデザイン設計し、特に重要な展示品は、エアータイトケースという外気と遮断する密閉型の展示ケースをデザイン設計しています。また、展示品を見せるための地具も、展示物を傷つけず、 なおかつ来場者が見やすい構造の地具として、一つ一つ専用治具として設計しました。考えられる全てに対応した資料館となりました。

26 Martyrs Museum was adopted as a design competition for exhibition work accompanying renewal construction. Exhibits include from Christianity propagation in Japan by Francisco Xavier, from the era of repression, the martyrdom of the 26 saints, the latent Christianity to the resurrection of the Meiji era of faith, there were many historically important materials. In this work, I designed and designed sticking to the details with the theme of "Protecting" and "Showing" these important materials. Basically, the exhibition case designs a highly airtight case, and especially important exhibits are designing a sealed display case that shuts off from the outside air called an air tight case. In addition, we have designed the utensils to show the exhibits one by one as a special fixture, without damaging the exhibits and yet having a structure that makes visitors easy to see. It became a museum that corresponds to all possible thoughts.
