亡くなられた、やなせたかし氏がデザインした佐世保バーガーのマスコットキャラクター「させぼバーガーボーイ」と相方である「させぼ　ぼこちゃん」を製作しました。 まずは、やなせ先生の原画のイメージをなるべく壊さないように立体化から始め、中に入るアクター身長に合わせた視認性や安全性を確保する構造を検討することから始めました。試行錯誤を繰り返し、ようやく出来上がった 製作図をクライアントに提出。やなせたかし事務所の最終承認をとってもらいました。佐世保バーガーボーイ・佐世保のボコちゃんは、口がメッシュ構造となっており、とても高い視認性がります。着ぐるみは、視認性が低く、サポートする人を同行させなくてはいけないものが多い中、とても恵まれたデザインでした。さすが、やなせ先生、着ぐるみになる事を前提にデザインしてくれていたのかもしれません。
