みやこ町のキャラクター「みやっこくん」の着ぐるみ製作プロポーザルに参加し、私のデザインが採用されました。今回のプロポーザルで提案したポイントは「デザイン性」オリジナイメージの立体化「快適性」・熱排出機能と視野性能の提案・「維持メンテナンス性」抗菌・消臭素材の使用及び衣装構造提案の3点に重点をおきました。着ぐるみは、見た目だけでなく中身と構造が重要という提案を受け入れていただき本当にありがとうございます。着ぐるみ製作の競争入札参加依頼は丁重にお断りしています。仕事を選んでいる分けではないのですが、お金だけで判断される入札には問題があるように思います。着ぐるみは、見た目は一緒でも、 生地や素材・構造の考え方が異なれば、全然違うからです。「安かろう・悪かろう」に注意してもらいたいと思います。製作する立場から言えば、少しでも使い易いものを長く使用していただきたいし、何かトラブル があれば責任を持ち対処したいからです。
